Hi Ho, Hi Ho, Off to Texas we Go!

Scott left this morning with Damon and Delight for a Children's Home board meeting. Us girls are here alone. Scott was a little anxious about leaving us here, but we called a few ladies that we come in a jiffy if I needed any help. So far, so good! I have a really good helper that's only 10 years old. She has done everything from wash clothes, to cook us spaghetti for lunch. I don't know what I would do without her. She also jumps at any chance to pick up Anslee for me! I am moving around much more, still slow, but much more! Thanks to all of you for your prayers! They were felt!

When Scott returns tonight, he will be bring back his parents! We can't wait to see Nana and Grampy! Then on friday, Scott will pick up Me-maw and Aunt She-She from the airport! This will be great also. We can't wait for our family to see the girls! Hope you have a great and blessed day!
Love, Gayla

Nykia, Cale, and Anslee are together at last

Nykia and Cale were very excited about seeing their new baby sister!

We finally got home around 1pm Thursday. We are so happy about our new bundle of joy. Here are a few more pics of our baby girl. The dress is made by Memaw (Gayla's mom).

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Usually July is the rainy season for Saltillo, but Aug. has been very wet. I have recently finished the girls room. Yes, all three girls will share one room. It is a good size room, but some revamping needed to be done. We purchased bunkbeds for Nykia and Cale. I painted the room halfway up with hot pink, then put wall pops all over the room. They are polka dots. Then I put a striped rug down and striped curtains. I also painted the dressers with coordinating colors. My mom sent down satin comforters. Nykia's is hot pink, and Cale's is purple. It looks a bit like a candy shop, but quite . Now we are just waiting for the arrival of Scotlyn Anslee . Official due date is Sept. 3rd.

We have finished with all the groups for the summer. It has been a very busy summer for all us. The Askey's have taken a much needed vacation, and the Tripp's plan to take a vacation after little Anslee is born. They are allowing Delight in the delivery room as a translater. I'm not sure I could focus on Spanish at a time like that. I believe we had 10 weeks straight of groups from the US. I guess our vacation will be in Oct. when we go home for a few weeks. That is if we get all of Anslee's documents in time. She will need a US birth certificate and a passport. Maybe she will decide to come a little early to allow us to work on that.

Take care and may God bless you!
